Fast growing manufacturing company with excellent benefits and room for growth currently looking for an applicant with 0-5 years of mechanical assembly experience (might include working on a car, bike or other mechanical item) or a desire to work with their hands.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  The following education and experience qualifications are the minimum required for the position of assembly tech:

  • 0-5 years’ experience with mechanical assembly
  • Must have good communication skills and excel working in a team-based environment.
  • Reliable with a good work ethic
  • Good with hands, manual dexterity and desire to work a variety of tools and operating processes

Must be willing and able to pass a background and drug screening process.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  The following education and experience qualifications are highly preferred for the position of assembly tech:

  • Good computer skills

Description:

  • 1st shift 7-3:30 Monday through Friday.
  • Much of the work entails installing bushings with sealants and paints, using torque wrenches, drilling, applying sealants and adhesives to parts and riveting.
  • The Tech will work with supervisor’s quality personnel and teammates to assemble many types of products usually weighing less than 15-20lbs.
  • $14.00-$16.00/hr DOE with advancement opportunities

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  The assembly tech must achieve the following:

  • Ability to read and write work instructions and procedures in English.
  • Ability to follow and give written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents

Safety Glasses must be worn at all times. On shop floor Safety Toe (Steel or Kevlar) shoes or boots must be worn at all times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
